Recipes

Good Chia Pudd (ing)

1/4 cup Chia seeds, in a bowl with 1 - 1/2 cups water (soak 1 - 24 hrs)
1 cup coconut milk, oat milk or fresh made Almond milk
2 heaped tblspns (or more) of Carob or Cacao powder
1 cup Frozen Raspberries, or blueberries
4 or 5 fresh medjool dates (or soak dried dates, about 8, until soft)
You can add Vanilla Extract (see my Products page) or cinnamon if you like :)
1/2 cup Cashews if you want a bit of texture
(If you want it sweeter, add Agave or honey or Coconut Nectar)

Process all in a food processor for about 20 -30 seconds, serve & enjoy!
Colours in the Food processor - I've added goji berries & wild blueberries

Spiced Chick Pea sprouts

1 - 3 cups sprouted chick peas
1 - 2 tspns ground cummin
1 - 2 tspns ground corriander
1 tspn paprika or cayenne pepper
pinch of Celtic or Himalayan salt
coconut oil

- Gently warm coconut oil in a pan, adding the spices for a few seconds then tossing in the sprouted chick peas.  Coat them with the spices, moving the pan back and forth.
You are not really cooking these, just warming very gently and coating them with spice.

Experiment with spices - add cinnamon or 5 spice.... what ever takes your fancy!

Sprouted Chick pea Hummus
(There are many of these recipes out there, and though this is my version, I can't really claim it to be 'my' creation... someone else out there may surely have come up with the same thing!)

1 cup sprouted chick peas
1/2 raw zucchini
1 tablespn Tahini
1/2 red capsicum
Juice from 1 lemon or lime
2 cloves garlic
paprika or cayenne pepper
1 tspn cummin powder
1/2 handful of fresh coriander
Celtic or Himalayan salt
water

Blend all in food processor, adding more water if needed, for the consistency you desire.
